Q. Iceland has had a female president. Are you aware of any other countries that have had female presidents? If you wish you may include female prime ministers. How would you rate female rulers throughout history? If you wish you can include presidents, prime ministers and queens. Do women as rulers have a common characteristic or thread that distinguishs them from male rulers? Overall how would you rate female rulers compared to male rulers?

Q. I just got a female and male guppy today at Petsmart. The lady said that the female looked very pregnant. Are there any signs or actions that show a female guppy is about to give birth? A. Breed is more important than sex. Look for a breed that is known to get along with small animals or is likely to ignore them completely. A cocker spaniel or pitbull wouldn't be a wise choice ;-) I've had a german shepherd get along great with cats. Move around slowly when going past the cage, talk in a low voice, feed her lots of greens for vitamins, don't pick her up to much, give her a nice place to hide and make a nest with materials to make a nest, don't play loud music or yell near the cage. A. I would not recommend a fishbowl (no matter what size) for any fish. A small fishbowl is not the best way to keep a Betta. Her behaviour towards the kitten is normal, as she's trying to protect her territory and hopes that her hostile reaction will make the kitten leave. Police were called by female,neighbor claimed female hit him 1st *untrue*,police said they were unable to do anything b/c they didnt witness the assault. Female went to hospital on following morning,where initially it was thought to be a broken jaw., but resulted in facial contusion and cevical strain. Ivs of dilaudid,saline and nausea were administered. Hospital strongly urged going to police station to file warrant-that was done - what are the guidelines of what is to do next and what can be expected? A witness was present and filed a report as well.

A. I would assume that the police wrote a report. I would definitely file a complaint civil and criminal. Get a lawyer if you feel strongly about punishing this neighbor. Remember, however, you WILL have to live next to him unless you can afford to move. Keep it in mind for whatever you plan to do. I'm NOT saying it to discourage you from filing, but you need to keep an open mind that the court system will only do so much and IF he got jail time, it probably wouldn't be long. HOWEVER, that should not be a reason to let him get away with assaulting you!! Again, talking to a lawyer may be your best bet. Good luck.

Q. When my female dog started bleeding my male didn't try to breed with her. Now a week later he is trying to breed. Do the males not sense it right away?

A. Since you know so little about the canine reproductive cycle, I suggest you have them both fixed immediately. HE knows that NOW is the correct time to breed.

Can different species of female bettas live together?
Q. If any of you saw my earlier question I was asking about stocking a 10 gallon. So i have decided to just get 5 female bettas. So the question is can i mix different species of females ( I.e crowntail, veil tail and half moon) Thanks for answering :) Yes i have a filter and heater already to go, but I do need to pick up some more air stones.

A. Technically, they're still all betta splendens, there should be no more problems than if they were all crowntails, veil tails or half moons.

What gender would my female cat get along with best?
Q. I am looking into bringing a new cat into my home soon. I have a female cat though, she's 2 1/2. I got her when she was about 5 months, and up until then she had lived with other cats. She is an outdoor cat and plays with other cats when she's not home, but as soon as they get close to the home, she becomes very territorial, which females tend to do. Would she be more welcoming to a male cat?

A. In my experience, females are more territorial and take longer to aceept a new cat in the house. I find it better to bring in a neutered male kitten rather then another rival female. So go with a neutered male kitten. And if she is not spayed - get her done before you bring in any other cat.

How do you create a female character in Morrowind?
Q. I just bought Morrowind for the X-Box. I know in Oblivion for the 360 you can play female characters. However in Morrowind when the game starts I am not asked about my characters gender. How do I play a female character? Is it possible to play one?

A. Yes, when you get off the boat the imperial officer guy asks you your race. Under the image of your characters face on this menu are 3 bumper bars: Sex Face Hair Just press along on the 'sex' bumper bar to switch gender With most races the female starts with slightly higher intelligence, but slightly lower strength than the male.
