Obesity in China is a health concern with according to WHO, an overall rates of obesity at below 5% as a whole but greater than 20% in some cities. It is a dramatic change from when China was experiencing famines as a result from the Great Leap Forward. The rate of obesity in China has doubled in 10 years, according to a government report. The problem is mostly confined to the cities where fast food culture and globalisation has increased the problem in comparison to poorer rural areas. However, the very large populations within cities in China means that today one fifth of the approximate total of one billion obese people on the planet are Chinese.

Driving in to work Thursday, I heard the results on the radio of some poll suggesting that more than 50% of Americans believe that . China. will soon surpass the U.S. as the most powerful country in the world and the biggest exporter of goods. OK. I know they're fixing their roads and bridges much more quickly than we are, and they don't seem to have a national . obesity. problem like we do, so in certain respects their strides are notable and impressive. But creatively? ...

I'm 15 years old...and I have some...unusaul ideas about taking over America, what do you think about them?
Q. Lately, I've bee having thoughts about taking over America and...rebuilding it. Why? Because America is going down the drain economically, politically and etc. Economically, we've become too dependent upon imported goods a fair amount of them from China, and we're especially too dependent on oil. As of January 30, 2008, the total U.S. federal debt was approximately $9.20 trillion. And the American dollar is gradually decreasing in it's worlwide value. Politcal parties are doing nothing but dividing our country and it's making us weak, plus there's a fair amout of internal corruption and some politicians are sinking to new lows just to get votes and etc. The government is constantly hiding stuff from the American people, they've probably… [cont.]

A. I understand your anger and frustration. The adults of the country are having same frustrations as well. Unfortunately - fixing these problems will not be easy. Take the teen pregnancy rates, sexual activity rates and the diseases that follow those who are contributing to the high rates. These are not things that the government can change - the people must change on a grass roots level as it is cultural in nature. Kids have received the message since somewhere in the 80s that it is ok to be promiscuous - and it is perfectly fine to have children with "unknown" as a father on a birth certificate. This is very low class thinking - disrespectful to society who must foot the bill, disrespectful to self, and most certainly… [cont.]

Are most breakfast cereals dangerous junk food or healthy nutrition?
Q. A Consumers International study has recently found that breakfast cereals sold in Malaysia, China, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand, and the Philippines contain up to 25g of sugar per 100g of cereal. This study has also found that many cereals are "laden with fat and salt". Which can lead to obesity and hypertension. This study makes me wonder if the consumption of such cereals is a big cause of pediatric obesity in USA and Europe too?

A. In some cases, the cereal BOX is more nutritious with milk poured onto it than the contents of said box

Is This the Best Answer to the Healthcare Crisis You Ever Heard?
Q. Health Insurance Plan --- 100% Different From Anything You Have Heard About!? Here's a health insurance plan I dreamed up today. I would like to know your thoughts about it. But before you give me your thoughts, please take a moment to read the plan. Companies stop offerring health insurance. What they offer instead is wellness programs, which can be on or off company property. These programs are focused on weight control, exercise, nutrition, and medical monitoring (blood pressure, heart health, obesity, range of motion, pulminary function, liver function -- simple blood tests) No employees are compelled in any way to participate in any way in any company wellness program. But, those that do, get certificates signed by physicians… [cont.]
